AGV based assembly system is a new approach to flexible production that replace physical structures such floor chain, moving mat, conveyors, overhead cranes. Each AGV can have its own source of electricity, compressed air or hydraulics to help the assembly, also it can allow to rotate or elevate parts on AGV for ergonomic assembly.
